Here´s a first try to create an animated statistics with google spreadsheets. you can watch the number of teachers, students and birthrates. The data has to be verified yet.

scratch for arduino

Citilab released a version of scratch with which Arduino Boards can be programmed. After uploading the firmware onto the board s4a (scratch for arduino) is able to communicate with the hardware und several become visible. With these new blocks some of the digital and analogous pins can be programmed.
It provides new blocks for managing sensors and actuators connected to Arduino.

Modkit is an in-browser graphical programming environment for microcontrollers. Modkit allows you to program Arduino and Arduino compatible hardware using simple graphical blocks and/or traditional text code. Modkit’s graphical blocks are heavily inspired by the Scratch programming environment developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab.

With the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT-Component you can talk with your robot using Bluetooth, receive messages and data from the sensors.You have access to the files on the RCX, start and stop programs and send messages to the robots mailbox.
